It’s simple: Facebook users are checking-in at work. The last thing they want is 10 dense paragraphs of text. Your audience is more likely to engage if you offer them clear, succinct posts.
And, since a picture is worth a thousand words, use photos and (short!) video to drive even better engagement.

One o’clock on a Thursday is not the time to decide what to post. Have a plan!
Step 1: Write down 3-5 themes that your audience enjoys and are relevant to your brand.
Step 2: Once a month, sit down with a calendar and schedule specific post topics for that month based on the 3-5 themes you identified in Step 1.

Be spontaneous, every so often. If you have something important to share on a Tuesday, for heaven’s sake – don’t sit on it until Thursday! Post on Tuesday when it’s fresh and your excitement comes through. Then, repost and update later in the week when engagement is likely to be at its peak.
